Panda (Sean Gardner)

Panda (Sean Gardner) is a stalwart dwarven cleric and the spiritual anchor of The Heroes of Eastport. Characterized by a bald head, a magnificent, thick, bright red beard, and a giant, cheeky grin, Panda’s calm resolve and unwavering faith serve as a stabilizing force for his otherwise highly chaotic companions.

Beliefs and Actions

Panda is the brother of the goliath warrior Muffin and shares a deep, protective bond with him. In contrast to his companions' frequent demands for gold and coin, Panda is known for his gentle and artistic diplomatic gestures, famously presenting King Edor Bren of Marterus with a delicate, handcrafted leaf sculpture during their first royal audience.

He was highly instrumental in helping Brogmar Mossbeard research the ancient demonic lore of The Crooked Man within the secret Banniatear Library, utilizing his divine focus to decipher ancient, glowing scrolls.

The Fen Expedition

An Ancient Gully-maw swallowed Panda during the party's journey through the Fen. Skaf from Yonder pulled him from its belly, after which Panda absorbed much of the creature's assault while the party killed it.

Inside the Temple in the Fen, Panda was teleported into a hanging cage. Brogmar rescued him in the form of a giant eagle, and the pair reunited with Elion and Skaf before facing the Shadow Harlequin. Panda attempted diplomacy by complimenting the creature and later painted a bright target on Elion during the battle, after which Elion nearly fell.

After the royal replacement was killed at Ulfhold, Panda took gems from the king's private quarters. The distinction between spiritual anchor and inventory redistribution remains under theological review [citation needed].

Lithen's Funeral

At Lithen's Funeral, Panda offered condolences to Brogmar Mossbeard and compared death to sleeping. His words formed part of the companions' support before Brogmar addressed the mourners from the Cloudcombe.
