Lithen Dennison

Lithen Dennison was a dwarven herbalist of Marterus and the sister of Harry Dennison. A graduate of the University of Marterus, she cared for their afflicted mother Jolene in the Cloudcombe after the loss of the Opulence and the collapse of the family's fortunes.

Reunion

Lithen met the returning Harry, then known as Brogmar Mossbeard, at Ulfhold and led him to the family's one-room home. There she served food to the Heroes of Eastport while they examined Jolene's unexplained illness. Contemporary descriptions note that hardship had made Lithen look older than her years, while leaving her majestically long, plaited beard intact.

Death and Funeral

After the Heroes returned from the Temple in the Fen, Lithen was found dead in the Cloudcombe with a large wound to her neck. The circumstances beyond the transformed creature found in the room remain unrecorded.

For Lithen's Funeral, the party carried her in a small wooden cart north of Marterus. Brogmar buried her beside a lakeside tree they had climbed as children. A crowd from the Cloudcombe followed the funeral procession. At the grave, Brogmar declared that her body would feed the tree and then turned the gathering into a public stand against Polin Garten's influence over the city.
