Urgin Dennison is a dwarven merchant, patriarch of the Dennison family of Marterus, and father of Harry and Lithen Dennison. He was presumed dead after disappearing aboard the Opulence, but was later encountered alive near the town of Eilor in the Fey.
Merchant Career
Urgin led the merchant companies founded by his ancestor Guthrin Dennison and prepared Harry to inherit them. His wealth supported Harry's spectacularly impulsive youth and, according to rumour, occasionally supported the removal of its consequences [citation needed].
Disappearance and Survival
Urgin and Harry sailed aboard the Opulence on its final voyage in 1487 DR. No wreckage was found, and both were presumed dead. Harry survived on an island and became Brogmar Mossbeard; Urgin's path after the loss remains unknown.
The Heroes of Eastport found Urgin after emerging from the Temple in the Fen into the Fey. He said he was in Eilor, shared information about the Crooked Man, and urged them to hurry in their search. The record does not establish whether he could leave the Fey or has since done so.
