The Gorsuine Raid was an attack on Brae in 1487 DR during which numerous villagers were taken to a nearby outpost. It was organised by the local merchant and necromancer Ethor Kelanna as part of his effort to obtain subjects for flesh-golem experiments beneath his shop.

Rescue
The Heroes of Eastport, who had arrived in Brae while pursuing Margeth, tracked the raiders to their outpost. The party freed the captives and killed the lead Gorsuine. Elion Ashhar-Rah'oul also repeatedly fell from a tent roof, an operational detail preserved more reliably than the outpost's location [citation needed].

The party recovered a note signed "E" from the raid leader. The evidence pointed to Kelanna, then publicly known as a merchant of magical trinkets, and led the Heroes to confront him in Brae. His flight through a hidden door exposed the laboratory beneath his shop.
