Duncan Wells (born 1442 DR) is a human politician currently serving as the Mayor of Eastport, a maritime settlement on the island of Farmarch. Wells is widely recognized for his highly bureaucratic yet remarkably relaxed governance style, which favors delegating high-risk tactical security operations to whatever traveling mercenaries or crash-landed adventurers happen to be staying at the local inn.
Mayoral Administration
Under Wells' administration, Eastport has maintained a stable, if slow-moving, fishing economy. While Wells handles the town's administrative and financial paperwork, he leaves active physical defence and policing to his right hand, Captain Ikugo Havenwild.
Wells' hands-off methodology was put to the test in the summer of 1487 DR when the luxury airship The Kestrel crashed into the sea off Farmarch. Wells and Ikugo met the adventuring party after they found themselves on a beach. The party are the only known survivors, and Wells recruited them to investigate reports of smuggling in the dockside warehouses and strange trances at the lighthouse.

- Commemorative Memorabilia: Wells commissioned and bestowed commemorative Heroes of Eastport t-shirts to the party, which featured clean, slightly stylized depictions of the party members standing tall against the darkness.
