Captain Ikugo Havenwild is a half-orc warrior and the commander of the town Watch of Eastport, on the island of Farmarch. As the right hand of Mayor Duncan Wells, Havenwild handles the physical defense and policing of the town, complementing the mayor's strictly administrative approach to governance.

Service
Under Havenwild's direction, the Watch protects Eastport from forest goblins and keeps the docks orderly. He was among the first on the scene when the airship The Kestrel crash-landed outside the village in 1487 DR, meeting the survivors alongside the mayor — a reception that transitioned smoothly from rescue to recruitment [citation needed].
Criticism
The Watch's record under Havenwild is regarded as solid with one significant exception: the failure to detect a major Voidbloom smuggling ring operating out of the dockside warehouses, a district the Watch patrolled daily. The ring was ultimately exposed by recently crash-landed adventurers at the mayor's request. The Watch has since described its patrol routes as "under review" [citation needed].
